Gerard Nash KC returned to the Bar in 1980 after a long and distinguished career as an Academic and Scholar and was appointed one of Her Majesty’s Counsel for the State of Victoria in 1986; and practices in the areas of administrative, criminal and commercial law He has held a number of significant academic appointments, including: Foundation Professor and Dean of Law at the University of Papua and New Guinea, Professor of Law and Dean of the Faculty of Law at Monash University. He was a Visiting Fellow at Trinity College Oxford, Carnegie Fellow, Fullbright Fellow and Visiting Professor of Law at Boston College Law School.

Jack O’Connor Before coming to the Bar (wherein he accepts briefs in public and administrative law, appellate crime, and commercial law) Jack worked in Criminal Law Policy at the Department of Justice & Regulation. In 2012–2013, he was Associate to the Hon Justice Weinberg of the Court of Appeal. He completed his legal training in 2012 at Thomson Geer, having obtained First Class Honours in Law at the University of Melbourne. Commission in July 2022.
