Which eReader should I use?

LexisNexis recommends the below which supports Digital Rights Management (DRM), depend on the device you will be using to access the eBook.

What does DRM mean?

Digital Rights Management (DRM) is used to ensure that a specific copy of an eBook is licensed to one individual. This ensures that copyright laws are respected, and that authors and publishers are compensated. An individual is licensed to use that eBook but may not share it with others.

Why do I need to create a ByteBooks account?

Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) now uses ByteBooks for user authentication. Both new and existing ADE users are required to sign in with a ByteBooks account to download and access protected eBooks. If you don't already have a ByteBooks account, you'll need to create one before using Adobe Digital Editions.

How do I download my eBook?

After purchasing your eBook, you will receive two emails. The first email will be your purchase confirmation. The second email will be the download instruction email.
The link provided in the instruction email is only active 14 days from the day it was generated.

How many devices can I load this eBook onto?

You can only download this eBook to two devices.
Not compatible with Kobo Reader and Amazon Kindle.

Can I copy, paste and print my eBook?

No, please refer to our terms and conditions for more information.

What functionalities are available with eBooks?

Book functionality, such as page turning, searching, making notes, highlight and bookmark., varies with the device and eReader software used.

Can I share or loan or transfer my eBook?

LexisNexis® eBooks cannot be shared. Our eBooks are electronic publications licensed for use by one individual only. It cannot be transferred from one device to another.

How do I retrieve my eBook for lost data and lost or change device?

Please contact our technical Support team on 1800 999 906 opt 1 or email techsupport@lexisnexis.com.au and have your proof of purchase or order ID available.

What are examples of technical issues?

Some examples of technical issues are listed below:
