Nebraska Civil Practice

Professor Ryan P. Sullivan is a practicing civil attorney and a clinical faculty member at the University of Nebraska College of Law where he has directed multiple clinical programs and currently co-directs the Pretrial Litigation Program. In his faculty role, he also co-coordinates the College’s Litigation Skills Program of Concentrated Study. He received his B.A. from Colorado State University-Pueblo while completing his enlistment in the U.S. Army, majoring in business administration. Thereafter he attended California University of Pennsylvania where he obtained his Master’s in Health Sciences. He received his J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law where he served as an editor of the Nebraska Law Review and chair of the Nebraska Moot Court Board, and competed on the National Trial Team. Professor Sullivan is an active member of the Nebraska Bar, serving on the House of Delegates, the Legal Services Committee, a judicial nominating committee, and as an officer within several bar sections. Professor Sullivan has received several awards for his civil practice and pro bono work, including the Nebraska Bar Association’s Robert M. Spire Award and Visionary Award, the Association of American Law Schools’ Access to Justice Award, and the American Bar Association’s Pro Bono Leader Award.
