Santhana Dass graduated from the University of Singapore in 1977. He has been involved in cases involving insurance, tort, medical negligence and contract for more than 30 years and is the legal advisor for many general and life insurance companies. With his vast experience, he has authored a total of six (6) books and has written a number of articles on insurance related subjects. He was also the Contributing Editor for the 'Annotated Statutes of Malaysia - The Insurance Act 1996' and 'Malaysian Personal Injury Service' published by Malayan Law Journal. S. Santhana Dass is currently a member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance (U.K.), the Malaysian Institute of Insurance and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators U.K. He has conducted courses and seminars for various insurance companies over the years.
