Shanthy Thuraisingham is the Academic Director at Kaplan Business School, Australia. Dr. Shanthy is also an adjunct Associate Professor with Monash University. She was a member of the OECD Taskforce on Corporate Governance and a member of the Listing Committee of Bursa Malaysia. She was also a member of the Adjudication Committee for the Malaysian ASEAN CG Awards. Dr.Shanthy is a non-practicing Advocate and Solicitor.
Anil Joshi is currently working with Securities Commission Malaysia and has been involved in law reform exercises involving Malaysian Securities Laws. He has also been involved in corporate governance reforms in listed companies, which included working on the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance. Prior to joining the Securities Commission Malaysia, he was a Senior Research Manager for the Corporate Law Reform Committee.
Sujata Balan is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Malaya. Prior to joining academia, she practiced law in a leading law firm in Kuala Lumpur, where her portfolio included General Litigation, Building Construction and Arbitration. Her teaching experience covers subject areas including Company Law, Trust Law and Civil Procedure. She has also taught skills-based courses including Legal Drafting and Advocacy.
