Sheila Nemet-Brown, B.A. (Hons.), LL.B., is a Senior Content Development Associate for LexisNexis Canada. She obtained her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. She is the author of the Public Utilities and Legislatures titles in Halsbury’s Laws of Canada, and has served as contributing editor for numerous other Halsbury’s titles. She also developed and edited the Canada Criminal Sentencing Digest and the Canada Quantum Digest series. She is the original co-author, with the late Clayton Ruby, of Sentencing Ranges for Criminal Offences.

Marko Djurdjevac, LL.B., is Crown Counsel with the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, working in the Legal Services Branch of the Ministry of Infrastructure. Previously, he worked at the Legal Services Branch of the Ministry of Energy as well as the Legal Services Branch of the then Ministry of Government and Consumer Services. Marko started his career in the private sector and was a partner at a boutique law firm as well as a national law firm. He has been an author, instructor, speaker and moderator at industry courses, conferences and seminars. Marko is also a certified Arbitrator (ADR Institute of Ontario), and has acted as a mediator and arbitrator in the past.

Julie Soloway, B.A., LL.B., LL.M., S.J.D., is a Partner and Co-Chair of the Blakes Competition, Antitrust and Foreign Investment Group. Julie is at the forefront of the most complex and high-profile Canadian and cross-border merger transactions. Julie also has special expertise in the Investment Canada Act and has been successful in securing approvals for foreign investors in Canada’s key industries. Navin Joneja, B.A., LL.B., LL.M., is a Partner and Co-Chair of the Blakes Competition, Antitrust and Foreign Investment Group, widely regarded as one of Canada’s preeminent competition law practices and recently named Competition Law Firm of the Year by Best Lawyers in Canada. Consistently ranked as a leading competition law practitioner, Navin is described in leading publications as providing “very practical and timely advice” and delivering “great client service”. He is recognized as an “outstanding analytical thinker” who is deeply competent with respect to agency strategy”. Danielle Y. Cornacchia, B.A. (Hons.), M.A., J.D., is Crown Counsel for the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General.
