Lazar Sarna est membre du Barreau du Québec depuis 1975. Il exerce activement à Montréal dans le domaine du litige commercial et corporatif. Anciennement associé chez McCarthy Tétrault, il a par la suite pratiqué au sein de Sarna Neudorfer. M^e Sarna a enseigné le droit des sociétés et la gestion à la Faculté de droit de l’Université McGill ainsi qu’à la John Molson School of Business de l’Université Concordia. Il est l’auteur de nombreux livres et articles, notamment Letters of Credit (Carswell), Law of Bills of Lading (Carswell) and Law of Cheques and Promissory Notes (Carswell). Il a agi comme témoin expert et consultant sur plusieurs questions juridiques liées à ses publications et a plaidé devant toutes les instances judiciaires.

Lazar Sarna has been a member of the Bar of Quebec since 1975. He is in active practice in Montreal in the field of commercial/corporate litigation. Formerly a partner with McCarthy Tetrault, he subsequently practiced through Sarna Neudorfer. Mr. Sarna has taught corporate law and management at the McGill University Law Faculty and the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University. He is the author of numerous books and articles. He has acted as an expert witness and consultant on a number of legal issues related to his publications, and has litigated before all levels of the courts. Mr. Sarna has been recognized in the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers in Canada for his high caliber work in Corporate and Commercial Litigation as well as Corporate Law.
