Torts: Cases, Problems, and Exercises

Paul J. Zwier is a professor at Emory University School of Law, where he directs the trial advocacy and litigation skills programs and teaches torts, evidence, and advanced negotiation, mediation, and international dispute resolution seminars. He has taught courses in advocacy, litigation skills, and ADR at more than 250 law firms and legal organizations in the United States and internationally in Africa, Mexico, Russia, Canada, China, Great Britain, Guam, and Saipan. He also consults on ADR strategies as well as case theory and presentation in trial cases. Professor Zwier directs the litigation, ADR, and trial skills programs at Emory University School of Law. He is the former director of Public Education and associate director for In-House Training Programs for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA).

Edward C. Martin is currently Professor of Law at the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama where he teaches torts, damages, and products liability. Mr. Martin received his B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee in 1970, and his J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1975. Mr. Martin began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph W. Henry, Associate Justice of the Tennessee Supreme Court, and subsequently was an associate with the firm of Henry & McCord of Tullahoma, Tennessee. Prior to accepting his present position, Mr. Martin was an Associate Professor of Law at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
