Michael B. Bogdanow is a Principal in the Boston firm Meehan, Boyle, Black & Bogdanow, P.C., www.MeehanBoyle.com, where he oversees the appellate department, and served as Managing Officer from 2005 to 2016. He received his J.D. degree, cum laude from Harvard Law School, his Master of Fine Arts degree from Columbia University, and his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, with honors in fine arts, from Brandeis University. He is the author of the treatise Massachusetts Tort Damages (LexisNexis Matthew Bender) and has served as Chair of the Joint Bar Committee on Judicial Appointments, Co-Chair of the Boston Bar Association Litigation Section, and President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. He was U.S. News & World Reports/Best Lawyers’ Boston Appellate Attorney of the Year in 2015 and in 2017, and Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s 2015 “Lawyer of the Year.” Meehan, Boyle, Black & Bogdanow represents victims of personal injuries and wrongful death, while striving for outcomes that create positive change in the community and society at large.
