Carol Cioe Klyman is a shareholder of Shatz, Schwartz and Fentin, PC, a firm with offices in Springfield, Northampton and Albany. She concentrates her practice in the fields of estate planning, elder law, long term care and special needs planning, estate and gift tax, estate settlement, trust and estates litigation, and MassHealth appeals. Attorney Klyman received her law degree, magna cum laude, from Western New England College School of Law and a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Rhode Island. 

Michele J. Feinstein is a shareholder of Shatz, Schwartz and Fentin, PC, a firm with offices in Springfield, Northampton and Albany. She concentrates her practice in the fields of estate planning, elder law, long term care planning, estate and gift tax, estate settlement, trust and estates litigation, MassHealth appeals, as well as corporate and business planning, including all aspects of planning for the succession of business interests, and representation of physicians in their individual and group practices. She is a cum laude graduate of the Western New England University School of Law where she was a member of the Law Review and Boston University, where she first earned her Bachelor of Science summa cum laude and later a Master of Laws in taxation. Her professional affiliations include member, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; member MassNAELA, Estate Planning Council of Hampden County, past president, officer and board member; Pioneer Valley Estate Planning Council; Hampden County Bar Association. She received her Attorney Feinstein is a Senior Adjunct Professor of Law at Western New England University in the LLM Program for Estate Planning and Elder Law where she has taught since 2005, received the Accredited Estate Planner ® designation from the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils, was named Top Women of the Law by Massachusetts Lawyer’s Weekly in 2014, and is regularly named a Massachusetts Superlawyer and Best Lawyers in America ® where she was named Lawyer of the Year for Trusts and Estates in 2023 and 2025.
