Paul E. Wojcicki is presently an appellate prosecutor in the Cook County (Illinois) State’s Attorney’s Office. Paul took on this public-service role after nearly thirty successful years in private practice at Segal McCambridge Singer & Mahoney, Ltd. (www.smsm.com). Paul also advises and counsels companies in various sectors in connection with product warranty and service contract program development, improvement, administration, and regulation. He is a past president and director of the Global Warranty and Service Contract Assn. (www.gwsca.org) and editor of www.DrivingValue.com. While in private practice, Paul maintained an AV rating and was recognized as an Illinois Super Lawyer (2005–2019) and Leading Lawyer (2012–2019). He obtained his undergraduate degree from Columbia University in the City of New York and his juris doctor from the DePaul University College of Law. He resides in Chicago’s Beverly neighborhood with his wife Patricia and their four children Erin, Jenna, Jack, and Evan. Paul is delighted that Jenna, a third-year law student at the University of Georgia School of Law, is a co-editor of this volume.

Mitchell P. Morinec, a Shareholder of Segal McCambridge Singer & Mahoney, Ltd. (www.smsm.com) has been practicing litigation for more than a decade-and-a-half focusing on commercial, and products liability, and premises liability litigation. While based in Illinois, he has significant experience handling litigation matters in Indiana, Wisconsin, Colorado, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Massachusetts and New York. Mr. Morinec also serves as a Cook County arbitrator. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Morinec is a pro bono counsel for Lawyers for the Creative Arts, a non-profit organization that provides legal services to artists in the Chicagoland area, representing clients in intellectual property matters, including copyright and trademark registration and protection, licensing negotiations, and general business disputes.

Mr. Morinec is an alumnus of Chicago's "City News Bureau," where he covered and reported on crime in Chicago for numerous television, radio, and print media outlets locally and nationwide. He attended law school at DePaul University College of Law and is an alumnus of Washington University in St. Louis. He lives in Chicago with his wife and sons.
