Angelo L. Rosa, J.D. Angelo is a commercial attorney and business consultant. He has practiced law since 2003 in California, and since 2007 in Idaho.
Raised in the United States and the Middle East, Angelo attended the University of California at Los Angeles on a full scholarship and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in History at age twenty. He then attended American University-Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C., where he obtained a Juris Doctorate in 2003. Between 2003 and 2006, Angelo was a litigation associate at a Los Angeles-based law firm specializing in representing regional, statewide and national labor unions. After moving to Idaho, he was an associate at Capitol Law Group in Boise, Idaho between 2007 and 2008. Following an eighteen-month secondment as general counsel and chief operating officer of a company operating in Southern California, he returned to Capitol Law Group as a partner between 2010 and 2012. Since 2013, he has operated a boutique practice focused on advising clients (primarily in the energy, manufacturing and sustainable technology sectors) on debt- and equity-based finance transactions and project development, as well as handling select litigation matters.
During his career, Angelo has represented clients ranging from successful sole proprietorships to Fortune 500 companies in administrative, trial, and appellate matters in federal and state courts in California, Colorado, Idaho, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Texas, Utah and Washington. His portfolio of asset, corporate, and project finance transactions totals in excess of $1 billion. Maintaining a successful transactional practice allows Angelo to devote substantial time to pro bono representation of clients with limited means and representing client/plaintiffs in legal malpractice claims.
