Mr. Stein is also a litigator. He has represented individual and corporate clients in state and federal courts and in multidistrict litigation, before state and federal agencies, and in arbitration, including before JAMS, the American Arbitration Association and FINRA. During a recent year-plus span, Mr. Stein arbitrated three cases to a conclusion and settled a California Superior Court case after the first date set for trial. Mr. Stein has been a speaker at continuing legal education courses for attorneys in California and Illinois.

Mr. Stein is a graduate of Princeton University and Stanford Law School. After graduating from Stanford Law School, Mr. Stein joined Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati, in Palo Alto as an associate. Mr. Stein was a Lecturer/Instructor in Legal Research and Writing at Berkeley Law School, University of California at Berkeley during 1993-1994. He established the predecessor of his current law firm in 1995.

Mr. Stein is admitted to practice in CA, CO, DC, IL, and NY. Outside of work, Mr. Stein is an avid traveler. He has visited more than sixty-five countries.
