Lex K. Larson is former President of Employment Law Research, Inc., a legal research group located in Durham, North Carolina. A graduate of Haverford College and Harvard Law School, Mr. Larson practiced law for 14 years in Washington, D.C. From time to time he has taught courses at Duke University Law School as Senior Lecturer at Law. In addition to being the original author of Employment Screening (2 volumes) and Unjust Dismissal (3 volumes), he is Author Emeritus of Larson’s Workers’ Compensation Law (17 volumes), Larson’s Workers’ Compensation Desk Edition (4 volumes), and Employment Discrimination (11 volumes). All of the above treatises are published by Matthew Bender & Co.

Mukti N. Patel is a Partner and Litigation Co-Chair, Litigation Department, with the global law firm, Pierson Ferdinand. She specializes in business, commercial, and employment litigation both at the trial and appellate levels, appearing before federal and state courts across the country. She received a law degree from Rutgers University School of Law and was a member of the Rutgers Law Review. She is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and has been appointed to serve on its Appellate Practice and Business and Commercial Litigation Committees. She is also a former member of the Board of Directors for CONTACT of Mercer County, a non-profit organization providing suicide hotline and other services.
