Nina M. Vitek: Member of the Wisconsin Bar, former Co-Chair of the American Bar Association Family Law Section Paternity Committee. Ms. Vitek is the ABA Liaison to the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws as the adviser to the Drafting Commission to revise the Uniform Parentage Act and is also a frequent speaker on paternity?related issues.

Ami S. Jaeger, M.A., J.D.: Founder of the BioLaw Group, LLC, formerly Director of Law and Public Policy for the Genetics and Public Issues Program for the National Center for Genome Resources, analyst with the U.S. Congressional Office of Technology Assessment and consultant for the National Institutes of Health, National Human Genome Research. She is currently an Advisor to National Conference of State Legislators, Genetics Task Force, member of the Blue Ribbon Panel; Chair, Subcommittee on Genetic Research, Committee on Regulation of Research, American Bar Association; and Co-Chair, Assisted Reproductive Technology and Genetics Committee, American Bar Association.

James R. Marsh, J.D.: Founder of The Children's Law Center. Mr. Marsh has conducted training for the Child and Family Services Agency, the Counsel for Child Abuse and Neglect, the Consortium for Child Welfare, the DC Bar Public Service Activities Corporation (PSAC), the Council for Court Excellence and the Neglect and Delinquency Practice Institute.

George H. Maha, J.D., Ph.D., MT (ASCP): Director of Laboratory Operations, Department of Parentage Evaluation, Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings (formerly Roche Biomedical Laboratories, Inc). Certified as a Ph.D. Medical Geneticist in 1987, as a Medical Technologist (MT) in 1983 and as a Laboratory Director by the New York State Department of Health. Dr. Maha is a member of various scientific organizations and legal groups, an observer to the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws revision of the Uniform Parentage Act and was Vice Chair of the Paternity Subcommittee of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association. He has been admitted as an expert in genetic testing in 88 trials in 17 states and has given numerous presentations on various scientific and legal aspects of genetic testing.

Consultant Carl W. Gilmore, J.D., practices general civil litigation with an emphasis on family law as a member of Rupp & Youman in McHenry, Illinois. He is the author of Illinois Parentage Law and numerous articles covering family law and parentage. Mr. Gilmore is also the author of the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education¿s chapter on parentage in the Causes of Action update. He is a member of the American Bar Association¿s Family Advocate editorial board, past president of the McHenry County Bar Association and the recipient of the Illinois Bar Association¿s Young Lawyer of the Year¿Downstate Award in 2000.
