Donald R. Alissa K. Lipton is a partner in the Boston office of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner LLP. Her practice focuses on patent litigation and pre-litigation counseling involving a wide range of technologies, including biotechnology and pharmaceutical patents. Ms. Lipton is experienced in representing clients before various U.S. district courts in all stages of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Ms. Lipton’s practice also includes due diligence, freedom-to-operate, enforceability, and infringement assessments. She earned her biology degree from Johns Hopkins University, and her law degree from Harvard Law School. She served as a law clerk for Judge Alvin A. Schall of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
