Michele Floyd is a partner in Kilpatrick’s San Francisco office and is a member of Kilpatrick’s Complex Commercial Litigation group. With 34 years of experience, Ms. Floyd has developed a broad complex litigation practice with a focus on class action defense and matters involving antitrust, unfair competition, false advertising, and privacy. Ms. Floyd has extensive experience defending actions brought under state and federal antitrust laws as well as under California’s Unfair Competition Law, False Advertising Law, and similar statutes of other states and has handled complex commercial actions in federal and state courts across the country. Ms. Floyd has represented clients in NAD proceedings, as well as in investigations brought by the Federal Trade Commission, the Department of Justice, the Federal Communications Commission, the U.S. and California Departments of Transportation, and a number of states’ Attorneys General. She has significant experience representing clients in arbitration proceedings and is a member of the AAA National Roster of Arbitrators. Ms. Floyd has specific expertise in online contracting and advertising practices and counsels clients on both antitrust compliance and minimizing legal risks associated with advertising campaigns and marketing representations. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Floyd was a partner in the San Francisco, California office of a women-owned boutique litigation law firm where she concentrated her practice on complex commercial/class action litigation. Prior to that, she served as the Senior Legal Director, Commercial Litigation, at a global media and tech company where she was responsible for managing and defending its commercial litigation. Ms. Floyd received her Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law.

Cory W. Eichhorn is a partner in Holland & Knight’s Miami office and is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Eichhorn focuses on class action defense and complex commercial litigation. He has substantial experience defending claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act, and other federal and state consumer protection laws. Mr. Eichhorn has served as lead counsel in hundreds of class actions in courts across the United States. His matters often involve significant business practices, public relations considerations, and federal or state regulatory issues. In each matter, he remains focused on the client’s business objectives. Clients rely on him not only for guidance on the substantive and procedural aspects of class action litigation, but also for practical advice in navigating complex legal and business challenges.

Sydney Alexander is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Miami office. Ms. Alexander focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal court. Ms. Alexander has worked closely with her clients in defending class action claims, including on merits-based and class certification motion practice and class action discovery. Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Alexander served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Mary S. Scriven in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Daniel T. Rockey is a partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP and leader of the firm’s Privacy and Data Security Class Actions Practice. Mr. Rockey has been a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (CIPP/US) since 2008 and represents companies in the technology, retail, payments and cryptocurrency, and sharing economy sectors, focusing on class action defense and other complex commercial litigation matters, regulatory counseling and investigations, and privacy and data security matters. In more than 30 years of practice, Mr. Rockey has litigated consumer class actions involving a variety of state and federal claims, including the California Invasion of Privacy Act, Electronic Communications Privacy Act, Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Unfair Competition Law, False Advertising Law, Consumer Legal Remedies Act, and Unruh Civil Rights Act, among others. Mr. Rockey received his Juris Doctorate from the University of California, San Francisco.
