Ujvala Singh is a practicing attorney who has dedicated her legal career to representing clients who have suffered damage, losses and missed financial opportunities due to inadequate representation from their lawyers. She is the founder of Law Office of Ujvala Singh (www.ujvalasingh.com), a San Francisco, California firm dedicated to representing individuals and businesses in legal malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty and related claims against their former counsel. Ujvala also provides legal ethics advice to lawyers so that they meet their ethical duties to clients — Ujvala firmly believes that the best protection against legal malpractice is preventing it. Ujvala also serves as an expert witness on legal ethics and related issues. Ujvala served a three-year term on the California State Bar’s standing Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct (“COPRAC”). She is the 2025-2026 Chair of the Conference of California Bar Associations: Justice Through Laws (“CCBA”), an organization devoted to justice through laws. She served as the CFO of CCBA for a two year term. And Ujvala has served as Chair of the Resolutions Committee of CCBA, and continues to serve as a member of that committee, analyzing resolutions that propose legislative change. She has also served as an arbitrator for the Attorney-Client Mandatory Fee Arbitration Program of the Bar Association of San Francisco. Ujvala is also an active member of The Minority Bar Exchange: The Power of Diversity and the Law. And Ujvala is a frequent speaker on legal ethics and professional responsibility topics for continuing legal education programs. Ujvala earned her JD from Vermont Law and Graduate School after she earned her PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
