Rathna Koman is an Associate Professor of Law (Practice) at the SMU School of Law and Director of SMU Pro Bono Centre. Professor Koman, formerly a civil litigator, joined SMU in 2007. She teaches criminal law and advocacy course. Engaging innovative teaching methods and unique brand of teaching in her law courses, she has won numerous teaching excellence awards at University and Law School level.
Lionel Tay, is a senior partner at Rajah & Tan Singapore LLP. He has been a civil litigator for more than 26 years, with a specialised cross border practice in restructuring and insolvency, fraud investigations and corporate governance. Lionel has been consistently named in various professional publications (eg Chambers) and recognised by in-house general counsel as a leading practitioner in Insolvency as well as Fraud Investigations.
