Subscribers receive the product(s) listed on the Order Form and any Updates made available during the annual subscription period. Shipping and handling fees are not included in the annual price.
Subscribers are advised of the number of Updates that were made to the particular publication the prior year. The number of Updates may vary due to developments in the law and other publishing issues, but subscribers may use this as a rough estimate of future shipments. Subscribers may call Customer Support at 800-833-9844 for additional information.
Subscribers may cancel this subscription by: calling Customer Support at 800-833-9844; emailing customer.support@lexisnexis.com; or returning the invoice marked "CANCEL".
If subscribers cancel within 30 days after the product is ordered or received and return the product at their expense, then they will receive a full credit of the price for the annual subscription.
If subscribers cancel between 31 and 60 days after the invoice date and return the product at their expense, then they will receive a 5/6th credit of the price for the annual subscription. No credit will be given for cancellations more than 60 days after the invoice date. To receive any credit, subscriber must return all product(s) shipped during the year at their expense within the applicable cancellation period listed above.
The total price includes the product(s) listed in the Order Form and any Updates for a limited period (minimum period of 30 days) after the order is placed ("Order Window"). Shipping and handling fees are not included in the grand total price.
All shipments may be returned, at subscribers' expense, for full credit of the Price within 30 days of receipt.
Shipments may not be returned, and no credits will be issued, more than 30 days after receipt.
After the Order Window, subscribers will receive notice of Updates along with the then-current grand total price and order process as Updates become available. Subscribers will only be shipped those Updates they specifically request.

Ronald E. Weiss
Ronald E. Weiss is Special Counsel in the workers' compensation defense firm of Hamberger & Weiss LLP, which has offices in Rochester and Buffalo, New York. He is managing partner of the Rochester office.
Mr. Weiss graduated with a B.A. magna cum laude from Boston College in 1974 and earned his J.D. degree cum laude from Boston College Law School in 1977. He has specialized in workers' compensation defense on behalf of employers and carriers for over 40 years, with an emphasis in Appellate practice.
Mr. Weiss is a member of the New York State Bar Association Torts, Insurance and Compensation Division, and the Monroe County Bar Association. He and his firm are the New York State representatives of the National Workers' Compensation Defense Network, a nationwide network of law firms devoted to defending employers and insurers in workers' compensation matters. Mr. Weiss is also a professional member of the New York State Self-Insurers Association and the National Counsel of Self-Insureds.
He has lectured extensively on workers' compensation topics for various industry, claims and bar groups and has been listed for over 20 years in The Best Lawyers in America in the field of workers' compensation.
Ronald Balter
Mr. Balter is an a partner with the firm of Vecchione, Vecchione, Connors & Cano, L.L.P. with offices in Garden City Park, New York. He is a 1980 graduate of the University at Buffalo. He received a B.A. in Political Science. He received his J.D. from New York Law School in 1983. He was admitted to the Bar of the State of New York in 1984 and has practiced almost exclusively before the Workers' Compensation Board since then.
He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and American Bar Association. He served as chair of the New York State Bar Association’s Tort, Insurance and Compensation Law Section's Workers' Compensation Division from 2004 until 2006. Mr. Balter has also served on the Board of Directors of the Society of New York Workers' Compensation Bar Association since 1988.
In 2005 Mr. Balter was named the Workers' Compensation Attorney of the Year by the Institute for Jewish Humanities. More recently he was honored as the 2008 recipient of the Russell J. Gugino award by the University at Buffalo's Alumni Association for his continued support of the university's Athletic Department.
In 2016 he was the initial recipient of the Mary M. Russo – John Sciortino Award presented by the New York State Bar Association’s TICL Section for outstanding contribution to the practice of workers’ compensation law in New York State. In 2018 he was honored by the Dollar General Bowl Game as the Champion of Life Honoree for the University at Buffalo for his excellence in law, the community and as a steward for his alma mater.
Mr. Balter has presented Continuing Legal Education Seminars for the New York State Bar Association, the Injured Workers' Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
