At the end of 2013, National Taxpayer Advocate Nina E. Olson delivered her Annual Report to Congress. She included a discussion of the most serious taxpayers encountered by taxpayers. Her full report also provided legislative recommendations and highlighted the most litigated tax issues of 2013.
Ann Murphy is an Associate Professor of Law at Gonzaga University School of Law. She currently teaches Individual Income Tax, Evidence, and Wills and Trusts. She formerly worked for nearly 15 years with District Counsel for the Internal Revenue Service in both the San Francisco and Portland, Oregon offices. She has written extensively in the areas of tax, evidence and elder law and has been a speaker at numerous conferences.
