Michael Dunning (Editor-in-Chief) is a partner at Perkins Coie LLP. His practice focuses on helping clients solve complex challenges arising from land, water, and air pollution, and he has particular depth of experience in the area of contaminated sites (a/k/a "dirty dirt"). He was an assistant attorney general for the state of Washington for more than a decade and served as the section chief of the Hazardous Waste Section of the Attorney General's Office. He offers an insider's understanding when providing innovative and effective solutions to business, local government, and nonprofit clients.
Mr. Dunning served in the U.S. Army prior to receiving his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Iowa College of Law.
