North Carolina Personal Injury Liens Manual

Chris Nichols, chief editor of the North Carolina Personal Injury Liens Manual, has been in practice in North Carolina since 1994. He received his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Wake Forest University (1991) and his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law (1994). Nichols is the founding partner of the Nichols Law Firm, where he concentrates in the area of personal injury, representing individuals who have been catastrophically injured in automobile and trucking collisions. He also represents individuals in insurance coverage disputes and sues sexual abusers.

Nichols is an active member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, serving as President for the 2015-2016 fiscal year. He previously served as Vice President of Education for NCAJ and has served as chair of its Auto Torts Section and New Lawyers Division. Nichols is the editor and publisher of www.NCTrialLawBlog.com, where he discusses and provides up-to-date information about North Carolina trial and lien laws. He is married to Elizabeth Nichols, and they have one daughter, Zoe.
