Forms and Procedures Under the UCC

Frederick M. Hart is a professor at the University of New Mexico School of Law. Professor Hart is the author of the 8-volume Forms and Procedures under the UniformCommercial Code, as well as the 24-volume U.C.C. Reporter-Digest, both from Matthew Bender. He is past president of the Law School Admission Council, and has served in a variety of capacities for the Association of American Law Schools and the American Bar Association's Section on Legal Education andAdmission to the Bar. Professor Hart is a member of the bars of New York, the District of Columbia and New Mexico. He is agraduate of Georgetown University Law Center, and received his LLM from NewYork University. Professor Hart received a Peter Canisius Fellowship to the University ofFrankfurt, and is a four-time winner of the New Mexico State Bar Association's Outstanding Achievement Award.

Professor Nathalie Martin is the Frederick M. Hart Chair in Consumer and Clinical Law at the University of New Mexico School of Law (UNMSOL), where she regularly teaches secured transactions and other UCC classes, bankruptcy, and contracts. She also has taught in UNMSOL’s award-winning law clinic. She and her husband Stewart, a former bank lawyer, frequently teach International Business Transactions in Spain, Italy, and Greece. She has written over three dozen law review articles and several books, in addition to coauthoring the Forms and Procedures hornbook with Professor Frederick Hart. She focuses her scholarly writing on commercial and bankruptcy law and other related topics which are listed at http://lawschool.unm.edu/faculty/martin/index.php. Prior to teaching, she was in private practice in Philadelphia and Boston, where she specialized in Chapter 11 reorganization. Professor Martin is a member of the American Law Institute, the American College of Bankruptcy, and was chosen as the American Bankruptcy Institute Scholar in residence for the Fall of 2005.
