Henry L. Goldberg, Esq., is a prominent authority in construction law and government contracting.
He enjoys a working relationship with the leadership of most contracting agencies in the New York metropolitan area and is an active member and supporter of virtually every New York based construction and contracting industry association. Mr. Goldberg is also a member of the MOLES, the professional engineering organization of the heavy construction industry, and one of the most prestigious organizations of its kind in the world.
Mr. Goldberg serves as General Counsel to several industry associations including the Construction Management Association of America's NY/NJ Chapter, the Subcontractor Trade Association of New York and the NYC Surety Association. He has served as Chairman of the New York Building Congress' Public Procurement Committee and the Subcontractor Trade Association’s Public Agencies Committee, as well as past president of the Construction Financial Management Association’s New York Chapter and founding board member and counsel to the Long Island Chapter.
He is a long standing member of several federal contracting groups and associations including the National Contract Management Association ("NCMA" ), the National Defense Industry Association ("NDIA" ), The Surety Bonding and Highway Bridge Committees of the Associated General Contractors ("AGC" ), and is a member of the American Bar Association’s Public Contract Law Committee. Mr. Goldberg also serves on the "National Advisory Committee" of The Journal of Construction Accounting and Taxation published by Warren Gorhaman & Lamont. Mr. Goldberg is an Expert Advisor to the American Arbitration Association and he serves on the American Bar Association’s Fidelity and Surety Law and Construction Industry Forum committees.
Today, Goldberg & Connolly is a recognized authority on all aspects of construction and government contract law and maintains a strong standing in the federal construction contracting and procurement contracting industries representing aerospace and other defense contractors.
Mr. Goldberg is a graduate of Cornell University and Fordham Law School. He received his Bachelor of Science in 1971 and his J.D. degree in 1974. He has continuously enjoyed the highest peer review rating (Preeminent AV) by Martindale Hubble.
