Environmental Law in Real Estate and Business Transactions

Annemargaret Connolly is a partner at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP and the head of the Firm's environmental practice. Ms. Connolly is most known as a transactional environmental lawyer, regularly advising clients on a wide range of environmental concerns, most notably in the context of mergers and acquisitions, real estate transfers, financing transactions and infrastructure projects. Her practice is global and focuses primarily on identifying and managing environmental compliance and liability issues and risks as they arise in the context of corporate and real estate transactions.

Ms. Connolly has been recognized for over a decade by Chambers USA as a leading environmental attorney for corporate and real estate transactions. She publishes articles on such diverse topics as climate change, nanotechnology, lender and successor liability, and due diligence. Ms. Connolly is a member of the District of Columbia and Massachusetts Bars and is a graduate of Syracuse University and the George Washington University Law School.
