John E. Moye is a practicing corporate and commercial attorney in Denver and is a partner of the Denver law firm of Moye, Giles, O'Keefe, Vermeier & Gorrell. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Accounting and of Cornell University with a Doctor of Law (with distinction), where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as an editor of the Cornell Law Review. He is a former professor of law and associate dean at the University of Denver College of Law, and served as a visiting professor at Southern Methodist University. He conducts numerous seminars and continuing education programs on corporate, partnership, securities, commercial and banking law. Mr. Moye has authored numerous Law Review articles and is the author of The Law of Business Organizations (Fourth Edition) and Federal Jurisdiction and Procedure (Third Edition) (co-authored with Ray Forrester), both published by West Publishing Company; Business Law Case Management System, published by Shepards/McGraw Hill; The Law of Corporations, The Law of Partnerships, and Loan Documentation Under Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, published by the professional Education Group; and Problem Series in the Uniform Commercial Code, published by the Nobles Company.
