Tort Law Study Bundle

Alexandra Briscoe LLB(Hons), BSc (VUW) studied her law and science degrees at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington. She tutored in Torts for two years, one of which as head tutor. She has also written on the interface between tort law and climate change and has a keen interest in all aspects of tort, public and family law.

Geoff McLay began teaching at Victoria University’s Faculty of Law in 1994. He was appointed a Professor with effect from 1 January 2011, however is currently on leave from the University while he serves the Law Commission. Geoff has a BA and LLB (Hons) (First Class) from Victoria University of Wellington, and was awarded an SJD from the University of Michigan for a thesis on the history of Crown liability in 2008. In 2006, he was a visiting Professor at the University of Iowa College of Law teaching torts and advanced torts and product liability. He has also taught advanced torts at the University of Western Ontario. Geoff McLay has authored Student Companion, Torts since the first edition.
