Ceri Warnock (LLB hons, LLM Auckland) joined the Faculty of Law at the University of Otago in 2006 after having practised as a barrister in England and Wales. Ceri teaches resource management and energy law. Her primary research interests include environmental law, the law relating to climate change and energy law. She has published widely both in New Zealand and internationally and is the recipient of the New Zealand Law Foundation International Research Fellowship - Te Manatū a Ture o Aotearoa Te Karahipi Rangahau Ā Taiao for 2014, to be based at the University of Oxford.

Abby Suszko (LLB, BA (Hons) Māori Studies, PhD (Otago)) is a Lecturer at Aotahi: School of Māori and Indigenous Studies, University of Canterbury, where she teaches about the Treaty of Waitangi in New Zealand society, Māori and Pasifika perspectives of justice, Māori and Indigenous Peoples development and contemporary interactions with nation states, as well as kaupapa Māori research methodologies. Her research focuses on theories of equality and rights employed in contemporary debates around Indigenous Peoples' claims to natural resources.

She is co-author of Butterworths Student Companion: Resource Management (LexisNexis, 2013) and a contributor to Māori and Mining (Māori and Mining Research Team, 2013).​

Maree Baker-Galloway (LLB hons Otago) is a partner in Anderson Lloyd’s resource management team, with particular expertise in water, biodiversity, mining, tourism and the Conservation Act. She acts for a wide range of clients including Fish and Game, Oceana Gold, tourism operators and public interest NGOs.Maree has been on the national committee for the RMLA for several years, written widely on RMA matters, and regularly lectures for the NZ Law Society.
