Dr. Kande Prasada Rao was born of devoted Christian parents Kande Abraham and Meramma on 4th February, 1944 in Allur of Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh. He had his school education in Rama Krishna High School, Allur and did B.Sc; in Venkatagiri Raja's College, Nellore. He did M.Sc; (Statistics) in Patna University and M.Sc; (Physics) in Vikram University, Ujjain. Dr. Rao worked as Junior Lecturer in Physics in Coles Memorial Junior College, Kurnool and A.B.M.Junior College, Ongole in Andhra Pradesh and retired from service on attaining age of superannuation in 2002.
