The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), applies to employers of 15 or more employees and protects the rights of applicants and employees with disabilities. The ADA, among other obligations, requires employers to engage in the interactive process and provide reasonable accommodations for the known physical or mental limitations of otherwise qualified individuals.
